Welcome to the KELY Support Group website -
KELY'S EVENT
The KELY Support Group is a local charity that offers non-judgemental
support to young people in Hong Kong.
Whatever you want to talk about, we'll listen. Email: help@kely.org
KELY's approach
is to encourage young people to help themselves by providing peer support
through positive contact with other young people
KELY achieves this through an email hotline, weekly support groups,
education and information programs and a range of outreach projects,
including Circus, Hip Hop, and Body Moves.
KELY incorporates CAS in all our programs. CAS is a framework
for experiential learning, designed to involve students in new roles.
The emphasis is on learning by doing real tasks that have real
consequences and then reflecting on these experiences over time through:
Creativity, Action and Service.

Message from the Chair |
Our central work in KELY is “helping young people help themselves”. We want to use Peer Pressure in a positive way so that young people can feel comfortable about making choices that will affect their lives.
Our work in this area continues to grow and challenge our resources. There is increasing demand in the community for our services and expertise. In order to meet these needs we must have up to date, trained and committed staff and volunteers. Our programmes grow and accommodate to the needs of young people. We are keen to match our service to these needs and so our staff need to be flexible and adapt to current demands. This past year has seen KELY continue its excellent work in Harm Reduction Workshops, Peer Support Training, the Youth Suicide Prevention Project, Match Magazine plus a range of community events. Our developing work in Hip Hop Hoops Anti-Drug Programme and the Social Circus Programme, our “State with Youth Project”, and the “Get Active! Be Empowered” programme are examples of the innovative and creative thinking of our staff.
We appeal to your continued support to enable KELY to develop and actively work in the community. As you read through the pages of this website, I know you will be amazed at the breadth and creativity of our work. Under the leadership of our Executive Director, Jessie Yee, KELY is making a difference to many young people as they work through the issues of growing up and learning about responsibilities and decision making. Jessie’s vision and tenacity has resulted in some very successful partnerships. Please support these projects through your generosity!!
