Responsibilities

  • Deliver workshops in English in International and other English Medium of Instruction Schools
  • Monitor and evaluate evidence-based programmes in English in Secondary Schools
  • Establish & maintain relationships and networks with programme participants, mentors, schools, other stakeholders
  • Provide support in the development of new programmes and other initiatives where needed
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Social Work, Public Health or related discipline
  • Minimum one year experience in an NGO setting, in training and facilitation or other relevant work for YSO role (3 years relevant experience required for Programme Coordinator)
  • Excellent command of English and the ability to communicate effectively with young people in International and other English Medium of Instruction Schools
  • An understanding of issues faced by Chinese speaking young people, Ethnic Minority groups and non-Chinese speaking young people
  • The ability to relate to young people, develop rapport and be seen as credible by them is essential
  • Good interpersonal skills with critical analysis, problem solving and presentation skills 

For Programme Coordinator:

  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide team members is important
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Social media knowledge, skills and creativity would be an advantage but not essential
