On 7, May 2005, students from schools across Hong Kong came together
to create 3 enormous murals for the KELY Support Group. After hours
of painting, laughter and a few entertaining incidents with wet paint,
3 murals were formed, each defining a different characteristic in each
of us - Friendship, Teamwork and Support. Seen alone or together, these
paintings show the world the best side of us, and the little things
we can do to make this world a better place.
The KELY (Kids Everywhere Like You) Support Group is dedicated to helping
inform and support young people across Hong Kong who are at risk of
hurting themselves and those around them through the actions they do.
KELY aims to steer these people away from these problems through self-help
workshops and projects, in an environment where no one judges the victims
of such problems.
The paintings are now on-the-go travelling around different
schools in Hong Kong for display.
